In the afternoon, Monaco's sporting director, Thiago Scuro, provided updates on the negotiation:
“We spoke two weeks ago and he informed us that his desire is to leave the club. Therefore, it doesn't make sense for him to train with the group, but he is still working. The contacts between the clubs (Monaco and Milan) are ongoing to find the final agreement that suits everyone. And we hope this can be reached as soon as possible.
