The Milan - Roma axis could heat up in these final days of the transfer market. This summer, there has been a lot of talk about Tammy Abraham being linked to Milan, while Roma has, in turn, considered Noah Okafor and Alexis Saelemaekers, who could once again be associated with the Giallorossi colors this week.
According to reports from Il Romanista, the Belgian winger could be part of a swap deal involving Zalewski, which is currently being evaluated by Milan.
The impression, however, is that after practically using him all summer and even in the season opener against Torino, Paulo Fonseca is unlikely to decide to part ways with him just seven days before the transfer window closes. This is especially true because Saelemaekers is a versatile player who could be valuable for Milan in what is expected to be a long and intense season.
Zalewski is a 22-year-old Polish player with Italian roots. He is a left-midfielder who stands at 175 centimetres tall. His contract with AS Roma runs until June 30, 2025. During the previous season with the Giallorossi, he made 33 appearances and registered 3 assists to his name. Overall, he played a total of 1547 minutes.
