The match against Parma highlighted something that the AC Milan management should not underestimate: the fact that this Milan needs an alternative on par with Álvaro Morata, as relayed via Milan News.
Luka Jović first, and Noah Okafor later, have shown that they are viable solutions for that role only as substitutes, as they both failed to meet expectations when they were deployed from the start by Paulo Fonseca in this brief early part of the season.
Regarding this issue, Tuttosport talks about the regret of not acquiring Tammy Abraham, who might soon end up at West Ham despite being linked to AC Milan for several weeks as a potential deputy for Morata. "Fonseca had given his approval for the Roma striker", writes the newspaper, "but now it remains to be seen whether the management will shift its stance in the market, abandoning its belief of being 'fine as it is.'"
