Paolo Maldini, legendary captain and former director of AC Milan, was interviewed at Coverciano by reporters, including colleagues from TMW.
Do you like Serie A?
"I like it, without a doubt: it's a championship that's not too highly regarded, but technically, tactically, and in terms of knowledge, it's in the top 3. The starting grid? It's the usual one. Inter is the most equipped team, then there have been many changes in various rivals who need a little time to pull the team together."
What do you think of Yacine Adli?

"He found little space at Milan in his first year, more last year: I think he can give a lot to Fiorentina, he has great vision and he's a good guy."
Do you get bored at home? Maldini answered:
"No. In the end, my career was long and demanding, even as an executive. Periods of rest are also healthy."
Are we not asking you anything about Milan?
"Rightly so."
Is your son, Daniel, a player fit for Serie A?
"There are players who mature early, others later; he’s probably a late bloomer, but he has a rare quality: in his shooting and in reading the game. Physically, he has now developed a lot. Now it's time to show what he's worth."
Who has come closest to Inter? Maldini replied:
"Milan came second last year and is another contender, Juventus has strengthened, as have Napoli and Roma. The teams competing for the final victory are always the same."
