Milan coach Paulo Fonseca commented on Sky Sport about the strong victory against Venezia.
Here's what the Portuguese tactician had to say?
"We need to manage things calmly. My choices are always for the best of the team. Rafa and Theo understood why they were on the bench against Lazio; they are important players and today they showed how important they are. We lost some points in recent games, we need to recover them, and today it was important to win by this score to achieve what we want. It is important to make the players understand that the key things are energy and attitude, beyond tactics: both work on the field and in the locker room are important.”
Fonseca continued:
"The derby against Inter? I’ve already started thinking about the matches against Liverpool and Inter. I know the importance of the derby, but I need to think about Liverpool first, even though I’ve already started studying Inter. Serie A is different from the other leagues I’ve coached in. I try not to listen to what’s happening outside but focus solely on working. I don’t know if there is more pressure here than in Rome, but Milan is a club that always plays to win.”
