Michele Criscitiello, in his usual editorial on Sportitalia, talks about Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the very difficult moment Milan is facing:

“Ibrahimovic got everything wrong, even in his absence I reiterated that he stopped playing football too late and started being a director too early, without any real experience. The confirmation came last night. Even if you're the boss, you can't say it like that. You completely misunderstood the context, you completely chose the wrong words, and in my opinion, Milan needs to step in now and clarify Ibra's position once and for all. Who is Ibrahimovic? What does speaking like that mean, does it imply he's a partner? Is he above Furlani? Is he only below Cardinale? But Milan needs to speak because these statements are very serious. What is Ibra to Milan? At the moment, he just seems full of arrogance and uncertainty. He’s trying to mix his football arrogance, I'm not questioning him as a person, but as a director, he's practically zero."
The journalist continued to talk about Zlatan Ibrahimovic:
"Someone who talks like that and leaves for two weeks during Milan’s most chaotic period can't be the boss. A boss wakes up at 6 in the morning and goes to bed at 2 at night; they must always be by the team’s side, not when they feel like it or how they want. You have to be with the team all the time, not just the day before. I’m convinced that at this moment, Ibrahimovic is not capable of doing this job and can't do it at Milan. And if Antonio Conte didn’t go to Milan, it’s Ibrahimovic's fault because he wanted to be in charge, he wanted to meddle in everything, and he wanted a weak, fragile, simple, friendly coach like Fonseca. Who are the 'kittens' aimed at? It’s not the team, it’s not the press, because the press means nothing to Ibrahimovic, as he’s always said, and it can't be the fans… Nobody has said or pointed out that the 'kittens,' mind you, might refer to some of Milan's directors. And if he doesn’t clarify and Milan doesn’t clarify, then it creates a general embarrassment for everyone. Because if he’s calling himself a lion and the other directors kittens, Milan needs to explain.”
