The heavy defeat last night in the Champions League against Liverpool, along with a start to the season that has fallen well below expectations, did not sit well with Milan fans, and perhaps the club management as well because some major decisions could take place soon if no significant immediate improvements are felt.
According to Manuele Baiocchini on Sky Sport Italia, Milan is already looking around for potential replacements for head coach Paulo Fonseca:
"There have been contacts with several coaches. Terzic was in the stands at San Siro yesterday, and he could be a candidate. Milan is exploring options, and there are several coaches without a contract, like Sarri, for example. The news is that Milan is considering a change if the situation worsens in the derby."
As per Milannews.it earlier today, Zlatan Ibrahimovic had a meeting with representatives of the former Borussia Dortmund coach Edin Terzic. He might be the one to replace Fonseca if Milan lose the derby on Sunday.
