It seems that AC Milan team may have to play the derby with an absence in their squad list. Besides Ismael Bennacer, Malick Thiaw is actually unlikely to be available.
The German central defender is still working to reach a full recovery from the injury he has sustained since late August.
In fact, as per the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport in this morning's print edition, head coach Paulo Fonseca hoped to be able to rely on the availability of Malick Thiaw, at least from the bench, in view of the derby. But, it probably will not be the case, unfortunately.
