Interviewed by Sportmediaset, Milan midfielder Youssouf Fofana spoke about Sunday’s derby victory. Here are his statements.
What has changed in you after the derby win?
"Almost nothing, just the confidence. Just the confidence we were lacking a bit. I know that in my mind, and in my teammates' minds, we wanted to do well, and that's what we did. We just needed a win to boost our confidence and start something new."
What does Paulo Fonseca ask of you? Fofana replied:
"He asks me to balance between attack and defense. This link is necessary, and I am that link. Whether you have the ball or don't have the ball. Basically, he asks me, in quotes, to be aggressive, to bring aggressiveness, to win the ball and make my teammates play."
