For AC Milan, owned by Gerry Cardinale's RedBird, there are record revenues as well: 450 million, a 13% increase compared to a year ago, the highest ever for the Rossoneri, as we have explained yesterday.

  • This marks the second consecutive year in black (achieving profit).

The Rossoneri board of directors, which met on Thursday, approved the figures for 2023-24: after a +6.1 million euros in 2022-23, the Rossoneri club closed the latest fiscal year with a profit of 4.1 million euros. Now, the approval of the consolidated financial statements by the shareholders' meeting, which will be held by the end of October, is awaited.

Revenues grew, reaching 450 million euros, an absolute record in the Rossoneri's history, an increase of 13% compared to the previous season, thanks to the second-place finish in the league, the sale of Sandro Tonali, and the growth in commercial revenues (new contracts with Emirates and Puma).

All this despite not receiving the significant funds from UEFA that reaching the Champions League round of 16 would have guaranteed (in 2022-23, the team reached the semifinals, losing to Inter). Salaries increased by 8%.

  • Now, AC Milan prepare for the next match against Bayer Leverkusen

Meanwhile, yesterday morning, the team began preparing for Tuesday's Champions League match in Leverkusen against Bayer. The possible recoveries of Davide Calabria and Noah Okafor will be evaluated today.
