The 'Coach of the Month' award for September has been given to Napoli's boss, Antonio Conte.
The trophy will be presented before the Napoli-Como match, scheduled for tomorrow. As Serie A notes, the award was decided by a jury of directors from sports media outlets, who evaluated the coaches based on technical and sporting criteria, quality of play, and behaviour during matches.
"Since his arrival in Naples, Conte has instilled in his players his philosophy of hard work, ambition, and a winning mentality. This new attitude has allowed Napoli to achieve positive results right away, validating President De Laurentiis' decision to bring back one of the world's most successful coaches to Italy", commented Serie A CEO Luigi De Siervo. "His tactical choices and perfect defensive phase have propelled Napoli back to the top of the standings, ensuring the vital alternation at the top, which is a hallmark of interest and balance in Serie A."
