A spokesperson for the CAS, the Court of Arbitration for Sport, confirmed to AFP the reduction of Paul Pogba's doping ban to 18 months, after he was initially suspended for 4 years.
"I can confirm the decision: an 18-month suspension effective from September 11, 2023. He will be able to return to competition next March. The decision was made without the reasons, which will follow later", the spokesperson for the Lausanne Tribunal stated to AFP.
Paul Pogba, who appealed to the CAS after his suspension was announced last February, tested positive for testosterone in August 2023, as relayed via ANSA.
