Lautaro Martínez is the most valuable player in Serie A. This information comes from the latest update by the CIES Football Observatory, which focuses on the squad values of clubs. In the most recent weekly report, a list of the 100 clubs worldwide with the highest combined market value of their contracted players is presented.

The market value is calculated based on a statistical model exclusively developed by the CIES Football Observatory, using a methodology explained in a peer-reviewed article recently published in the International Journal of Financial Studies.

The updated data also highlights the most valuable player for each team: the Argentine, captain of Inter, is the most "expensive" player for both his club and the entire league, with an estimated fair value between 95 and 120 million euros. Following him is Rafael Leão, who is, unsurprisingly, the most valuable player at AC Milan, with an estimated value between 69 and 88 million euros. In third place is Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, whose value is estimated between 67 and 84 million euros.

Here are the most valuable players for each Serie A team according to CIES.

Inter: Lautaro Martinez. Transfer market value: 95/120 million euros.
Milan: Rafael Leao. Transfer market value: 69/88 million euros.
Napoli: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Transfer market value: 67/84 million euros.
Atalanta: Giorgio Scalvini. Transfer market value: 61/78 million euros.
Roma: Artem Dovbky. Transfer market value: 56/73 million euros.
Juventus: Kenan Yildiz. Transfer market value: 52/66 million euros.
Fiorentina: Lucas Beltran. Transfer market value: 34/49 million euros.
Lazio: Mateo Guendouzi. Transfer market value: 34/48 million euros.
Genoa: Fabio Miretti. Transfer market value: 30/43 million euros.
Bologna: Santiago Castro. Transfer market value: 29/40 million euros.
Torino: Ivan Ilic. Transfer market value: 27/38 million euros.
Empoli: Lorenzo Colombo. Transfer market value: 18/24 million euros.
Udinese: Lorenzo Lucca. Transfer market value: 17/23 million euros.
Lecce: Nikola Krstovic. Transfer market value: 16/22 million euros.
Hellas Verona: Tomas Suslov. Transfer market value: 16/21 million euros.
