According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the negotiations between Theo Hernandez and AC Milan have turned cold.
In fact, to reach the renewal of the contract, the Frenchman is asking for a very high salary: more than 8 million euros, as per reports.
Now, there are two possibilities: the first is that
he’s in no hurry to renew, the second is that he intends to leave. For its part, the Rossoneri club has set a salary cap of 7 million euros, like Rafael Leao's.
After what happened against Lazio and on Sunday against Fiorentina, Theo, if anything, will have to earn his renewal. He also needs to prove his worth on the field and agree to reduce his demands, because 8 million euros is considered excessive.
In case of a sale to an interested party (Paris Saint-Germain? Bayern Munich?) the AC Milan management might not actually be able to demand a high transfer fee as his contract runs until 2026.
