Yacine Adli, who is on loan (with an option to buy) at Fiorentina this season from AC Milan, was interviewed today by Sky Sport 24. Here are his comments on his current form, having scored two consecutive goals, one of which was against the Rossoneri, as well as his growth since arriving in Italy.

On his impact at Fiorentina:

"When I arrived, I had a preseason that was a bit different than usual, and I wasn't in top shape," said the Franco-Algerian who scored against Milan before the international break at the Artemio Franchi. "But I worked hard, and now I feel good. I came with the desire to adapt and make myself known to my new teammates. I really feel good and I'm ready to have a great season with this team. I'm a very sociable person and I talk to everyone."

On the trust from Fiorentina coach Raffaele Palladino:

"Trust is something you earn by yourself. The coach gives me a lot of it, and I respond by wanting to work and improve every day, listening to all the advice. You earn trust day by day, and you do it on your own."

What was missing at Milan? Yacine Adli replied:

"At Milan, it was different. When I arrived in Italy, there were some things I lacked to be a complete player. I worked on them a lot with Pioli, and he helped me. It was up to me to seek out that growth to play in Serie A and play with Milan. In the end, I achieved it."

On the consecutive goals:

"I just want to win and achieve something with Fiorentina. We want to aim high. We want to improve game by game, and I hope to give a lot of help to the team. If I can score, that's great, but it's not my primary goal. I want to win with my team."

On comparisons with former Fiorentina midfielders Borja Valero and David Pizarro:

"I have too much respect for those players to compare myself to them. I'm just trying to work and improve to be a better player and person every day. I'm really far from their level; I still have a lot of growing to do."
