Former AC Milan full-back, Andrea Conti, has spoken about his career, including his move to the Rossoneri.
Here are some of his words:

"Milan move in 2017? That summer was not easy for me. Milan was looking for me, and I wanted to go because I felt ready, and when a club like that calls you—despite coming from difficult years—it’s hard for a young boy to say no," he told Gianlucadimarzio.com. "It was a year when Milan changed a lot; it was also the first year of the new ownership. I couldn't say what didn't work because many things happened; maybe the fact that so many changes were made didn’t help, then there was additional pressure compared to usual, related to the big spending in the market, which we couldn't handle."
Conti didn’t know it yet, but the worst part was still to come. From enthusiasm to suffering, from light to darkness:
"I got injured right away, in September. I still managed to play the first matches, earning a spot on the national team and debuting, then I got injured, and from there it was a long ordeal. Even though I had recovered a bit in 2020—with Pioli, I was playing regularly—there were dynamics that led me to leave. Still, it was an honour to wear the rossonero shirt. Playing at San Siro, I fulfilled a dream."
