The Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport in this morning's print edition reported Rafael Leao's statements from yesterday while in Portugal’s training camp (Read HERE) and adds that while the forward shines for the national team, he has been less impactful for the Rossoneri.
Leao's relationship with Fonseca?
His relationship with coach Fonseca has gone through tough times, and yesterday's comments seem like a jab at the coach.
Leao didn't elaborate on the matter after making those remarks, and Milan hasn't asked for explanations.
The Rossoneri club have heard his words. But, it should be noted that they have confidence in their coach Fonseca and also equally in their star left-winger. For them, it does not really seem like a dig at the Portuguese tactician.
Today, Leao will return to training with his teammates, without Theo Hernandez and Davide Calabria.
