Udinese will be hosted by Fonseca's AC Milan tomorrow at 6 PM CEST, returning to an away match after two home games.
This morning, in a press conference, coach Kosta Runjaic shared his thoughts on the challenges of facing the Rossoneri, highlighting the absence of Florian Thauvin, the technical leader of the Friulian team.
Here's what the Udinese coach said:
"We made good use of this break, especially during the first week. We trained intensely, and over the weekend, we also gave the players two days off, making the most of the available time. Lovric and Payero are fully recovered. Thauvin is still dealing with a minor issue he picked up after the match against Inter. It's a light rib injury, but it's still causing him some pain, so he's not able to train with the group yet. He's training in the gym and doing physiotherapy, but he can't join the group just yet. I don’t know if he’ll be able to return next week; he wants to come back immediately, but as I said, he still has pain, so for now, Thauvin can't lace up his boots to play."
Udinese's coach, Runjaic, said:
"Kristensen will be able to rejoin the group next week, which is great news, and Sanchez is also making good progress. Unfortunately, Atta has suffered a muscle problem, and we don’t know if he’ll be available tomorrow," as relayed via Milannews.it.
