As reported by La Repubblica newspaper, yesterday at San Siro, Udinese fans also targeted the AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan.

The Frenchman, who was the team captain for the fixture, endured insults from the visiting fans and a threatening banner for the return match in April which reads the following:
"Today just a greeting, in Udine the proper tribute."
This came after last year's incident when some Udinese fans sang racist chants towards the 29-year-old AC Milan star.
In any case, Maignan did well with the rest of his teammates.
The Rossoneri earned three important points and managed a clean sheet while down to ten men. The only goal of the match was scored by Samuel Chukwueze.
