Bologna - Milan will not be played on Saturday. The League decided after the meeting with relevant authorities. The decision ultimately favoured Bologna, which took a firmer stance on avoiding a neutral venue for the match compared to the prior day's developments.

Milan has always been active in social causes and considers solidarity a core principle. Yesterday, Bologna announced on its social channels that it would donate half of the match proceeds to a fundraising initiative organised by the Metropolitan City.
In response, Milan decided to auction off the jerseys worn by its players in the game scheduled for Saturday at the Renato Dall’Ara.
Separating the social from the sporting aspects, however, the Rossoneri club finds the ordinance by Bologna’s mayor, Matteo Lepore, incomprehensible. The disappointment stems from the observation that other events, such as Auto e Moto d’Epoca 2024 and the Bologna Boxing Night for the European Boxing Championship, will proceed as planned, albeit behind closed doors.
Sources close to the Rossoneri indicate that part of the issue was the poor timing, which didn’t allow a deeper evaluation of potential alternatives. Milan did all it could, but Bologna opposed playing in a different stadium.
Now, for AC Milan, the stance is one of waiting to understand when the match will be rescheduled amidst an already packed calendar.
