Stefano Pioli granted an exclusive interview to those at SportItalia, where the former AC Milan coach revealed his reasons for joining Saudi club Al Nassr.
Here's what he had to say:
"I was very happy when Al Nassr reached out to me and showed interest. I wanted to start a new and different experience compared to my 20 years of coaching in Italy. I was convinced because Al Nassr is an important club with ambition. The management I spoke with made me feel their trust, their desire to grow, and improve."
Pioli added:
"The fact that Cristiano is part of the team was also significant; I accepted with enthusiasm and a great desire to do well."
