In the broadcast 'Viva el Futbol', former AC Milan and Inter striker, Antonio Cassano, harshly criticised referee Ermanno Feliciani for disallowing Dany Mota's goal in Monza's match against the Rossoneri.

"Something absurd happened the other night," began Cassano. "The referee proved to be truly poor."
"He saw the foul and let the play continue to see what would happen; then Dany Mota scored, and he went back on his decision. Rocchi, what is this nonsense? He needs to explain it to 60 million Italians."
Cassano argued that Monza could suffer big consequences after such wrong calls.
"This all happens because it was Monza, a team no one talks about," he emphasised. "They’re fighting to avoid relegation, and a loss like that is heavy. And after a day, everything is forgotten."

"That goal should have stood," he argued. "The referee was likely in bad faith, based on whatever he thought in those six or seven seconds before Dany Mota’s goal."
Cassano continued to talk about Monza and Nesta's reaction:
"Sandro Nesta had already complained a few days ago, after another incident against Monza in the Atalanta-Monza match."
