After the final whistle at the Unipol Domus stadium, which marked a 3-3 draw between Cagliari and AC Milan, the Portuguese coach of the Rossoneri team, Paulo Fonseca, spoke to the club's official channel.

"I knew it was a tough team that plays directly down the wings. But after scoring three goals," he told Milan TV. "I never thought we'd draw this game. The problem wasn’t in attack; we did a lot of good things. The problem was defensive, a lack of aggressiveness on crosses, in the area, and in aerial duels. It's a sign of a lack of aggressiveness at this moment. We always struggled with crosses. Losing 69% of aerial duels is a signal."
On the difference between European and Italian competitions, which wasn’t so evident:
"The defensive issues today were different from those against Monza: it’s not about direct play but Cagliari’s crosses. That was the only problem, and it cost us two points."
On the two points lost and the standings, Fonseca said:
"I never thought we’d lose this game. We can’t allow three goals like the ones we conceded. We need to keep working; we still have a lot of points left to play for before the end. We’re improving offensively and, at times, in defense, but in terms of aggressiveness, we need to keep working."
