To the left-wing minority of the Municipality of San Donato, the reassurances about Milan's new stadium from Mayor Squeri and Paolo Scaroni following the latest meeting were not enough.
At the next city council meeting, scheduled for Thursday, November 14, there will be two items on the agenda regarding the new Rossoneri facility: one for a consultative survey directed at citizens and another for the suspension of the Program Agreement.
Below are the two points as stated in the Milan Municipality's announcement:
- Motion to request a consultative survey directed at citizens to evaluate the Rossoneri club's stadium project in the "San Francesco" area, presented by Councilor Forenza.
- Urgent motion on Territory Governance for the San Francesco area regarding a sports-related urban transformation project (the Rossoneri Stadium) with supra-municipal significance – Suspension of the Program Agreement, presented by Councilors Ginelli, Falbo, Sinatori, De Simoni, Papetti, and Forenza.
