Zlatan Ibrahimović, Senior Advisor for RedBird at AC Milan, spoke to Sky Sport during the Kings League presentation in Turin.
Will Milan-Juve provide a spectacle like the Kings League?
"It won’t be like the Kings League, but another kind of spectacle—more serious."

How is Milan approaching the match?
"We’re working every day to find balance and stability. The team is doing well, but we can do better, and that’s what we aim for."
What needs improvement? Ibrahimovic replies:
"Balance. We lose games we shouldn’t lose. It’s about mental focus and adapting to the new system. Once we find balance, the team will do much, much better. But we’re positive; we want to improve every day."
Will you strengthen the squad in January?
"Do we need to? Do you have any wishes?," Ibrahimović asks the journalist with a smile. "Everyone knows everything and has advice; everyone’s an expert. Just kidding (laughs). The market is ongoing every day. We have a scouting system that constantly monitors players, what’s needed and what’s not, on a loop. But right now, there’s no thought of making reinforcements. Let’s see what happens in these two months; hopefully, nothing happens with our players. If things stay the same, we’ll move forward."
What do you think about the Kings League? Ibrahimovic answers:
"I’m the president, and it’s finally coming to Italy. We’re all happy, especially for the fans who will see a spectacular style of football with different rules—something very special. In Italy, football is very passionate, almost like a religion. It’s very important. The Kings League comes with a different format. It’ll be very entertaining and spectacular. It’s very different from real football. Here, fans can set the rules. Things happen; there are other dynamics. It’s entertainment—a show."
Does modern football need the kind of show the Kings League provides?
"I don’t know. I played football, and it worked fine for me. But I also understand fans who want this kind of show. However, I think everything already exists in serious football. The Kings League is a show for a different audience, one that views football in another way. I don’t know—it’s not up to me to decide (laughs)."
