Interviewed this morning by La Repubblica, former Milan player Pietro Pellegri spoke about his revival at Empoli, Francesco Camarda, his experience with the Rossoneri, and many other topics related to his career. Here are some excerpts from his remarks.
After Monaco, Milan: Would you make that choice again? Pellegri answered:
"Honestly, even back then, I wasn’t completely convinced. I wanted to return to Italy but preferred another team. At Milan, I still pursued my development: I shared a locker room with Ibrahimovic and Giroud, and I learned a lot about how to train professionally. I have a folder full of lessons and experiences. But if I could go back, I wouldn’t make that choice again," as relayed via Milannews.it.
The youngest debutant ever is now Francesco Camarda. Any advice?

"I watched his starting debut against Cagliari. He’s a player with great potential, full of quality. I’d tell him to enjoy himself and listen to the people who care about him. They’ll be the most honest with him."
What’s it like to debut at such a young age? Pellegri replied:
"It was a reward for Genoa’s youth academy, where I started at 8 years old. When I arrived at the stadium by bus, I had butterflies in my stomach. Then, on the field, you forget everything. The 48 hours afterward, I was euphoric, but the right people around me kept me grounded—my father, my mother."
