Paulo Fonseca, during yesterday's pre-match press conference at Milanello, stated that tonight’s clash at San Siro against Juventus at 6:00 PM CET is important but not decisive. In reality, however, this match is almost a last chance for the Rossoneri to truly re-enter the title race. Failure is not an option for the Rossoneri team; securing all three points against the Bianconeri is absolutely essential.

Latest on AC Milan's Christian Pulisic

The Portuguese coach will once again rely on the revitalized Rafael Leão in attack, who is finally back in form after some challenging weeks that saw him lose his spot on the field, as well as on the big match’s former player, Álvaro Morata, who will be hunting for his first career goal against Juventus. Fonseca is also hopeful that he can count on Christian Pulisic, who is not in top shape following his commitments with the U.S. national team. This morning, the Milan No. 11 will undergo a test, and if he cannot start, Ruben Loftus-Cheek will take his place in the lineup, as reported by Il Corriere della Sera in this morning's print edition.

AC Milan coach Fonseca aims for a string of victories?

After the disappointing draw in Cagliari before the international break, Milan not only wants to return to winning ways but also aims to begin a streak of consecutive victories. "We need to win more games in a row. I am always positive; I always believe we can win. We are Milan; we have great respect for Juventus, but we are not afraid," Fonseca explained in yesterday's press conference. He also revealed that he would like to see in his Milan the same focus displayed by Jannik Sinner, the world No. 1 tennis player and a big Rossoneri fan. Will he get his wish?
