The AC Milan and USMNT star, Christian Pulisic, has spoken in an interview about his ambitions with the Rossoneri. He admitted that he wants to aim for the Champions League and win trophies with the team.
What did Christian Pulisic say?
"This is a club that always strives for success," he told the UEFA channel. "We want to win titles. I think you can feel that in the environment. It’s an important aspect of this club. With all its history, when you step into the training ground, you sense that we’re here to enjoy ourselves, but we want to win. The Champions League is always at the top of the competitions you aim for. So, we want to keep achieving results and give ourselves the chance to go far in the tournament," as relayed via Milannews.it.
On representing the United States in European football, Pulisic commented:

"I’m really proud to be American. I hope what I do on the field inspires kids in the United States to say, 'You know what, maybe I can go to Europe and do this too.' There were a few Americans who played in Europe that I looked up to, but not many who played at the highest levels. Now, you can already see that more and more American players are competing in Europe. Seeing the support back home and how this sport has grown since I’ve been in Europe over the last ten years, and going back to the U.S., is really special to me. I’m definitely proud to represent my country."
On moving to Germany to play soccer as a teenager, Pulisic said:
"It was a bit scary, especially for an American leaving the country and his family. At that age, I knew I really wanted to go to Europe, to challenge myself against the best, to play at the highest levels in Europe. It was just about finding the right moment. I had been noticed by some teams in Europe. Then I had the opportunity to join Dortmund’s academy. I’m grateful to the entire club for how they treated me and for giving me the chance to play with professionals. Even though I wasn’t fully developed physically, they knew I had the skills and would get there eventually, so they gave me these opportunities."
On winning the Champions League final with Chelsea
"I will never forget that experience. Winning the Champions League is a dream you have as a child. Playing in that match, winning the Champions League, it was one of the best nights of my life, an incredible memory, and still somewhat surreal."
