Before the Champions League match between Slovan Bratislava and Milan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic spoke to Sky Sport.

Here are the statements from the Swedish director:

Why is Milan so inconsistent between the Champions League and the league?

"The team needs to find the same focus as against Real Madrid. Every match is important. If you want to reach the top, you need to stay concentrated and deliver a performance in every game. In some matches, we’ve approached them poorly, but we’ve talked to the team, and they know what to do. They just need to find that click."

Will tonight be different from Saturday?

"In my opinion, today is completely different. On Saturday, it was a closed game with few chances, against an opponent that didn’t allow you to play your game. Today is totally different. We hope to do even more and bring home a different result."

Ibrahimovic, what is the feedback from the club so far?

"We are confident and working every day. We’re all working with the same objectives. The secret is working, though it’s not really a secret."

Have you considered targeting a January transfer for a player who can defend better? Ibrahimovic replied:

"In my opinion, when we talk about defense, the whole team defends. We don’t place the blame solely on the defenders. Regarding the January transfer market, let’s remember Bennacer will be back in a week. He’ll help us with his quality and be an extra asset in midfield. Then, let’s see what happens from now until the transfer window. After this game, there are seven matches left. We always keep our eyes open to see if there’s something we can add. We’re constantly in dialogue with the coach to determine what’s needed or not."
