Speaking during the afternoon broadcast of Sky Sport 24, Italian journalist, Emanuele Baiocchini, discussed Milan in the aftermath of their victorious yet criticized Champions League away match against Slovan Bratislava:
"There's something not quite clicking in Milan, and if we focus solely on the back four, we can note that in the last five matches, Fonseca has never fielded the same defensive lineup. This might be good in terms of rotation, keeping the players in the defensive unit fresh, but it's less beneficial when it comes to building mechanisms, synergy, and the connection that can develop between the different defenders."

"So, yesterday brought a victory—a 3-2 win in a competition where even goal difference can be extremely important. Milan could have played and won it more convincingly, but instead, they secured the win. Yes, it's three crucial points, their third consecutive victory, which starts to make the possibility of qualifying among the top eight a concrete one. This would be a vital milestone both from a sporting perspective and for the club's financial balance. However, they didn't play a great match; it wasn't a brilliant performance."
On Milan's Rafael Leao, the journalist said:
"If we want to highlight a major positive note, we can talk about Leao, who scored his fourth goal. Let me just say that this season, Leão has only scored critical goals for the Rossoneri, 4 goals and 5 assists, and whenever he scores, it’s either a goal to take the lead, to secure a win, or one that proves decisive for the result. That was the case again yesterday. Initially left on the bench, he came on and scored a crucial goal to give Milan the push they needed to go on and win the match in Slovakia. Even when he’s not at 100%, he continues to be a vital player."
