AC Milan have won the Champions League seven times in their history. Although they have struggled to compete at the highest levels in recent years, they remain the club with the second-most titles in the elite European competition, behind only Real Madrid.
Now, with Paulo Fonseca, they are aiming to get back to the top, as Gerry Cardinale repeatedly says.
The Rossoneri are often unpredictable this season, which means that the fans can make profitable bets on sports. Ninewin Casino comes to the rescue of sports fans. Welcome promotions from bookmakers increase the size of the bankroll and give a real advantage in sports betting.
Now, let's look at some of the best teams in the Rossoneri club's history.
Fabio Capello's Milan from 1991 to 1996:

The Italian tactician was strict and made high demands on his players. He also almost always built his teams based on zonal defence. Under his balance, the team always looks for balance.
On one hand, there were some legendary defenders who shined in Capello's era. We are talking about Franco Baresi, Paolo Maldini, Alessandro Costacurta, and Mauro Tassotti. On the other hand, some very creative players with creative visions throughout the years were also there, such as Zvonimir Boban, Roberto Donadoni and Dejan Savicevic.
With Capello, many heights were reached especially with Marco Simone in attack, without forgetting the legendary Marco Van Basten as well.
The only Champions League trohpy won by Capello was with Milan in the 1993-1994 season while four league and one UEFA Super Cup title were won in addition to three Italian super cup trophies.
What about Arrigo Sacchi's Milan?
In the summer of 1987, the late Silvio Berlusconi decided to trust an interesting Italian coach, Arrigo Sacchi, who was at Parma at the time.
Parma, in fact, played wonderful football and even won against Milan and gave a very hard time to most big clubs they faced. Silvio Berlusconi immediately knew that Sacchi's style would be a great fit. Even when the situation was difficult at the start, the Italian club president made sure to publicly back his coach and gave him all the ncessary tools to progress.
Training sessions were intense, and players, like Carlo Ancelotti at the time, recalled how they could barely move when they returned to their rooms. Sacchi's AC Milan was arguably the greatest team in Serie A and even in the world. With him, they won the Intercontinental Cup twice, one Italian Super Cup, two UEFA super Cups, one Serie A title and two European Champion Clubs' Cups.
Milan, right now, are far from such prestigious achivements, especially in the European stage. But hopefully, the fans will continue to support the current team with Fonseca in charge and hope for the best, starting with today's fixture against Sassuolo in Coppa Italia, a competition which the Rossoneri did not win since 2002/2003 season campaign.
