Tonight, Atalanta vs Milan is scheduled, a clash between two teams with American ownership.
The Rossoneri club has been entirely owned by an American fund since 2018 (first Elliott, now RedBird), while in 2022, the majority stake in the Atalanta club was acquired by a U.S.-led consortium headed by Stephen Pagliuca, who retained Antonio and Luca Percassi in their roles as president and CEO, respectively.

Atalanta and Milan: two financially strong clubs
Today's edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport compares the two clubs, both of which have healthy finances (Milan posted a net profit of 4 million euros in the 2023-24 season, compared to 12 million euros for Atalanta) and are experiencing growth (Milan's revenues have surpassed 400 million euros, while Atalanta's stand at 160 million euros, double what they earned before their Champions League era). Both models are therefore working, but there's one area where the two teams are not on the same level: infrastructure.
