Today is an important day for the Rossoneri as they seek to determine the extent of Christian Pulisic's injury and his recovery timeline.
The American, who was forced off the field during the first half of Friday night's Atalanta-Milan match due to a calf problem, is set to undergo an MRI scan to gain more insight into his condition.

The American versatile winger will certainly miss a few games (he’s already ruled out for Wednesday’s match against Red Star Belgrade and is at risk of missing the following league match against Genoa).
Who will replace Christian Pulisic?
As reported this morning by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Paulo Fonseca is pondering how to replace him on the pitch. The Milan squad lacks a true alternative to Pulisic. The first option is Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who came on in his place on Friday in Bergamo after the injury.
Two options to replace Christian Pulisic in the Milan lineup for Paulo Fonseca:
Ruben Loftus-Cheek has completely different characteristics, and with him and Yunus Musah on the pitch together, Milan’s offensive play risks becoming too predictable.
An alternative could involve fielding both the former Chelsea player and Samuel Chukwueze on the right flank. However, it remains to be seen if Fonseca would be willing to drop Musah, who has recently been providing more balance to Milan’s formation in that position.
Another option to replace Pulisic would be to deploy Álvaro Morata slightly deeper, with Tammy Abraham taking the role of center forward.
This solution worked very well in the derby and against Lecce. It was shelved after the defeat in Florence against Fiorentina. Now, with Pulisic’s injury, there might be an opportunity to revisit this strategy.
