Matteo Gabbia spoke to Milan TV on the eve of the Champions League match between Milan and Red Star Belgrade.
Here are his statements to the club's official channels:
On the team's current moment:
"I think tomorrow's match is very important for us to continue the journey we're making in Europe. It's a game that means a lot, and we are very focused on tomorrow and confident about what we want to achieve."

On Red Star Belgrade:
"A very tough team, who achieved a great victory in the last round. The game won't be easy at all; we will need to bring it to our side by approaching it with the right attitude, attention, and quality, aiming to win a match that is very important for us. They are a compact team with great quality on the counterattack. That will definitely be something we need to watch closely and be ready for."
On seeing Rade Krunic again tomorrow, Gabbia said:
"I haven’t spoken to Rade in recent days, but he’s someone who left a wonderful impression here at Milanello. A very approachable and professional guy. It will be nice to see him and give him a hug. I imagine that returning to San Siro, which was his home for several years, will also be special for him. We’re happy that destiny has brought him back to San Siro."
Is the aim to finish in the top 8 in the Champions League?
"When we started this group stage, that was our goal. At this moment, we have the chance to do something important, and we want to use all the tools we have to achieve our objective."
