Paolo Maldini, former player and director of AC Milan, gave an interview to Real Madrid TV, sharing insights into his relationship with Carlo Ancelotti. Here are his words.
What does Real Madrid represent for football fans?
"I believe that Real Madrid is the biggest club in the world, with Milan in second place. I think what most defines Real for its fans is its identity. People like Florentino Pérez, Emilio Butragueño, and everyone who works for the club every day only strengthen that identity."

What do you think of Real's squad this year? Maldini replied:
"They have incredible players. My friend Carlo Ancelotti needs to find balance, which is the hardest thing to achieve in football."
What is your relationship with Carlo Ancelotti?
"The coach was also my teammate since we played together for 4-5 years, winning the European Cup. For me, finishing my career with Carlo as my coach was a great pleasure. We enjoyed our time together," said Maldini.
