Speaking this morning in the pages of the newspaper Libero, former sports director Luciano Moggi discussed Milan, focusing in particular on Paulo Fonseca's outburst against some of his players following the Champions League match against Red Star Belgrade.

Here is his take:
"Words that had the effect of a bomb. A direct accusation against the club, which is absent when it comes to enforcing discipline; against the team, which does not follow him; and against the locker room, which is not united. On the other hand, the warning signs were already evident during the cooling break in Lazio-Milan. This was followed by Theo's violent act when he snatched the ball from a teammate's hands to take the penalty himself in Fiorentina-Milan."
Moggi continued to talk about Paulo Fonseca and his team:
"It naturally leads one to think that the saying 'prevention is better than cure' is not well-known at Milan. Now, the first to be penalized should be the coach, who ought to understand that such remarks should only be made within the locker room. In public, they only serve to divide a group, which will no longer be in sync with Fonseca, even if they pretend to be."
