Paulo Fonseca, the Rossoneri coach, spoke to 'Milan TV' at the end of Milan-Genoa, the Matchday 16 fixture of the 2024-2025 Serie A season, held at the 'Giuseppe Meazza' stadium in San Siro, Milan. Here are his statements:

"I am disappointed with the result, just like the fans, but I am satisfied with the squad. We did everything to win; the only thing missing was the goal. We had many chances and deserved to score. In not all matches have we created so many opportunities. Perhaps we lacked the right decisions in shooting and crossing."
He added:
"Genoa didn’t create anything dangerous. We were aggressive and pressed high. It was just the goal that was missing; we had the chances. It's true that we don't have all our players available, but even the young players played with the right attitude and performed well."
On Alex Jimenez, Fonseca said:
"He did very well, as did Liberali, even though it’s more difficult for him because he operates in areas where there’s less space. Alex had an outstanding game, and we believe in him a lot."
