Paulo Fonseca spoke to DAZN's microphones to comment on the disappointing draw for the Rossoneri against Genoa.
Here are his words:
"I think we played a good match, we created a lot, the players showed a desire to win, they played as a team, but the goal was missing. And obviously, quality was lacking in the final decisions, especially for the time we spent in the opponent's area. I believe we took 22 shots, but the goal was missing."
Is there also a lack of conviction and ruthlessness?
"Not today. Today, the team wanted to win the game, we were aggressive without the ball, and we got close to Genoa's area many times. I think it's not a matter of confidence but of decision-making."

Milan creates a lot, but the impression is that a true center-forward is missing...
"I think we have good forwards. Abraham had a knock, and Alvaro didn’t train all week. I think sometimes we talk about strikers, but our play also lacked quality in crosses, shots, and assists. But I have complete faith in our forwards."
The fans protested at the end of the match.
"It’s normal, this happens. We really wanted to win for our fans, but I feel they have always been with the team. And I think we can all recognize that the team gave everything to win. Clearly, we are not satisfied with the result, and I understand the fans’ disappointment."
