"Milan, celebrations and whistles"
That is how the Italian newspaper Il Corriere dello Sport spoke about the Rossoneri team's match against Genoa which also marked the 125th club anniversary.
There was little play and little character. Morata hits the crossbar, but the breakthrough doesn’t arrive: the draw pushes Europe further away while Fonseca and his team face protests from the fans.

The evening of celebrations for Milan’s 125th anniversary ends with a disappointing draw and fan discontent.
If anyone truly expected a reaction after Fonseca’s post-Red Star outburst against his players and the punitive benchings (see Theo Hernandez), they were left disappointed.

Yesterday’s issue wasn’t about a bad attitude, but rather about a group of players who seem unsure of what to do on the pitch or no longer believe in the project. It’s true that the “sweetener” of the Champions League is still there, but it’s more a result of the low level of the opponents.
In the league, however, the standings are dismal: eighth place, a full eight points behind fourth. Over these complicated months, the situation hasn’t improved—in fact, it has even worsened.
It’s hard to understand what Milan is at this point, starting with who leads it: Fonseca. But it doesn’t stop there—it extends to a group of players who, as has happened in the past two years, collapse at the first sign of trouble.
There isn’t even a leader: it’s pointless to look for one in Leao anymore, even with the captain’s armband. On top of that, the bickering among players increases with every mistake.
The real question now is: how do they get out of this? We'll have to wait and see...
