Manuele Baiocchini, speaking on Sky Sport 24, discussed the negotiation for Theo Hernandez's contract renewal with AC Milan:
"Yesterday, Hernandez' agent was at Casa Milan and spoke with the Rossoneri CEO, Furlani, about the renewal of the full-back's contract, which expires in 2026."

The journalist added:
"Both parties are keen to continue together, and the player himself, despite everything that’s happening this season, wants to stay and renew. The club aims to align his salary with that of the highest earners, namely Leao and Maignan."
Baiocchini continued to talk about Theo's potential renewal:
"An offer of 5 million euros has been put on the table, which is the basis Milan is working on. Theo initially asked for more, but optimism is filtering from the club regarding the Frenchman's renewal. However, further meetings with the agent will still be needed. Milan is also finalizing two other important renewals, those of Reijnders and Maignan. The club is working to secure its key players and lay a solid foundation for the future."
