Against Genoa and Hellas Verona, the Spaniard was among the best players on the pitch—if not the best—whether playing as a left-back or as a left-winger.
He showcased boldness, speed, technical skill, and even defensive awareness, though he was less frequently called upon in that area. For Paulo Fonseca, Jiménez is now an undisputed starter, to the point of being preferred over Theo Hernández at the moment.

According to today's Gazzetta dello Sport, the club recognises it has a gem on its hands and is keen to open talks with Real Madrid to renegotiate the terms of the agreement made last summer.
Born in 2005, Jiménez joined Milan permanently after a year on loan, with the Rossoneri paying around 5 million euros and securing him with a contract until June 2028 (with an option for 2029).
However, the agreement with Los Blancos includes a buyback clause: 9 million euros if exercised in 2025 or 12 euros million if exercised in 2026.
Convincing Real Madrid to forego this option won’t be easy, especially considering the club’s need to rejuvenate its full-back positions due to the ages of Carvajal and Lucas Vázquez, as well as plans to part ways with Mendy next summer. Nevertheless, the newspaper writes, Jiménez is thriving in Milan and feels perfectly at home.
