Stefanos Tzimas is making a name for himself in Germany, confirming why, for several years now, all insiders have been raving about him. The Greek striker, born in 2006, left PAOK Thessaloniki last summer to join Nürnberg in the Zweite Bundesliga on a loan deal with an option to buy. In Germany, Tzimas, despite his young age and his first experience away from home, has proven to be a lethal scorer, netting eight goals in 14 appearances.

Nürnberg would gladly exercise the purchase option at the end of the season, although the fee agreed upon last summer is quite steep: €18 million plus 15% of any future resale. However, the German club does not have the funds to complete the deal. As a result, they are considering profiting from the loan, which has already been fruitful in terms of goals and could also be financially advantageous. How? By purchasing him with the backing of a club already interested in acquiring him.
This is where interested clubs come into play. If Tzimas returns to PAOK, his value is likely to soar significantly by the end of the season. On the other hand, if Nürnberg buys him, it would be because they have already secured a buyer willing to pay €23–24 million for his transfer.
So, who’s interested in Tzimas?
In the Premier League, several clubs have inquired about him, including Brighton, Aston Villa, Fulham, Arsenal, and Manchester United. The talented forward has also attracted interest in Italy, where he has long been admired by AC Milan's technical area director Geoffrey Moncada and is on the radar of Juventus and Inter, two clubs that are focusing heavily on young talent this summer.
As soon as Nürnberg confirms a club willing to make the investment, they will purchase Tzimas from PAOK Thessaloniki. If no one steps forward, the player will return to PAOK at the end of the season, only to re-enter the market at a higher price, as relayed via Milannews.it.
