Carlo Pellegatti, speaking on Maracanà, a program on TMW Radio, discussed Milan's victory in the Supercoppa against Inter. Below is an excerpt of his comments:

"Regarding consistency in the league, the gap in points with the others is there, but in terms of squad depth, the difference isn’t really that significant. In a single match, this team can hold its own. Now, there’s no point in dwelling on the negatives. A trophy has been brought home, and that’s a good thing."
Can Sergio Conceição restore value to this squad? Pellegatti replied:
"I heard good things about him eight years ago when he saved Nantes. Then he went to Porto, and last summer, when people brought up his name, I said no because, honestly, I didn’t like his style of play. But I believe he’s the right coach for this historical phase of Milan."
