Sergio Conceição, the Rossoneri's head coach, speaks at the press conference following Como - Milan, a match valid for the 19th round of Serie A. The Rossoneri won 1-2, thanks to goals scored by Theo Hernandez and Rafael Leao.

More upset about the performance or happier with the result?

"Both. We managed to win a tough match against a good team; I liked them a lot. Truly, compliments to Fàbregas. We needed to do much more. We have to grow. We don’t have time to work on the pitch. Sure, we can talk with videos, with the whiteboard, but we’re missing the field, the training, having a clean week to work. This isn’t an excuse, though, because even in these conditions, we must do much better. We need to be more compact and aggressive: this is the foundation."

Three comeback victories out of four matches... Conceicao commented:

"We talked about this during the week: we need to start from the first minute to win. We need to be more decisive. It’s a matter of mentality. Then we fall behind in the score, and we have to push to the limit. But we need to keep that intensity from the beginning. The players are all different in terms of character; they’re all good men, but we also need some ruthlessness. I was already upset in the pre-match interviews, I’m very passionate. There are things that aren’t right. Some of the things we prepare, we then do differently during the game," as relayed via Milannews.it.

What did you tell the team at the end? Conceicao replied:

"Morata has some muscle discomfort. We’re also assessing the physical workload because I want an intense team that gives nothing away to the opponent. And in my opinion, we need to improve in this area as well. The players are free to speak: today, I felt like speaking myself. Tomorrow, we’ll evaluate the other injured players."
