The team struggled against Cesc Fabregas' team. But, they took risks, and eventually, they secured three important points in the chase for Champions League spot in the Serie A standings.
For Milan, Fourth place is now five points away, with a game in hand.
The road ahead, however, is still long. The only positive was the final half-hour. It was another comeback, the third under Conceição out of four matches. That shows that the team has spirit, as pointed out by Il Corriere della Sera in this morning's print edition.
Milan breathes a sigh of relief, but to complete the Champions League pursuit, more will be needed.
