During his regular appearance on the Twitch program 'Viva El Futbol', Antonio Cassano spoke about Milan, once again addressing the topic of Rafael Leao:
"The Milan you say is strong, I don't see it as strong. Because Milan, apart from the goalkeeper, who for me is among the best in the world, doesn't have a top-tier, high-level player. Now let's go back to the topic where you say (referring to a guy in the chat) that Leao is strong, strong, strong, I see it very differently. The question I ask you is: on what basis do you consider him a top player? A player who plays as a left winger, who you claim is of the highest level, in this Serie A must finish the season with at least 20 goals and 20 assists."

Cassano continued:
"Qualitatively, on the pitch, he doesn't know how to play in tight spaces. In terms of quality and creativity, he doesn't have it. He has just one thing: playing in open space at high speed. But even then, when he gets past someone, he doesn’t know how to shoot on goal. Pay attention to how he shoots, with his right foot and his left foot. Players of exceptional quality—if you gave Ronaldinho open space, matches would end 10-0. If you gave Pato 10 meters of space—he was a phenomenon but didn't show it due to injuries—he would tear everything apart and score three goals per game. This guy, instead, has an average of 5-6 goals and 2-3 assists per season."
Cassano added:
"What bothers me about this individual is that he thinks he's a phenomenon, a champion, his attitude shows it, especially since a player like him has to earn 8 million. I judge based on that. But we have different opinions."
"If a player earns 8 million euros and sits on the bench for the national team, except now that Martinez has arrived, internationally, he has never been decisive. In Italy, he averages 4-5 goals per season, and that’s over six years, six years. So the question is: on what basis do you consider him a phenomenon?"
