Speaking to the microphones of Sky Sport Italia, Nicola Legrottaglie, a former player of both AC Milan and Juventus, discussed the possibility of the Bianconeri investing in Milan defender Fikayo Tomori to strengthen and complete Thiago Motta's defense. However, the former footballer is not convinced by this solution:

"If Juventus wants Tomori, it means he's a player suited for a certain type of game. But why would Milan give him to Juventus? They would then be forced to find another center-back, which is difficult to do in January. I don't think Milan will do it: unless they had a better central defender already in-house, it would make sense. But at the moment, I don't think there are many defenders capable of replacing him. I could be wrong, but I really don't think this transfer will happen."
Legrottaglie continued to talk about Fikayo Tomori:
"Among Milan's other center-backs, he's the only one with those specific qualities: he can break the defensive line by pushing forward, apply pressure, and recover space while running. I believe Milan has no interest in letting him go, unless an extraordinary, irresistible economic offer arrives. But in my opinion, Milan won't go through with this deal."
