Yesterday, in front of the cameras during the post-match interviews following Juventus - Milan, Rossoneri coach Sergio Conceição appeared and refused to make excuses for his team's poor performance in one of the most important games of the year.

The coach criticized the team’s attitude and lack of hunger, identifying both shortcomings as his own responsibility. He then addressed the transfer market, with Corriere dello Sport summarizing his remarks this morning:
"Reinforcements are needed."
These were Conceição's statements regarding Milan’s transfer market:
"I would like something more already, and I am discussing it with the club. The changes Juventus made are different from ours. However, it is true that I am concerned; I am thinking about what to do to change the atmosphere in the locker room and around the team."
He also spoke about the Milan team attitude:
"There is a lack of hunger here to win every duel, and as the coach, I take responsibility for changing this situation. It is up to me to try to change Milan’s attitude. I take responsibility for the defeat because if there was that drop in the second half, it means I didn’t do well enough during halftime."
