The Turin-based newspaper, Tuttosport, in this morning's print edition, published the following headline about the current spirit of the Rossoneri team:
"Milan without grit worries Conceiçao."

The source explains that the main problem for the Rossoneri is the lack of character in the squad.
The Supercoppa Italiana victory seemed to offer a turning point for Milan’s season, but recent matches have revealed the usual issues with personality and mentality.
After the heavy defeat against Juventus, the Rossoneri coach, Sérgio Conceicao, explained, somewhat bitterly:
"The first step to winning a game is wanting to win it. If I'm worried? Yes, I'm thinking about what to do to change the environment in the dressing room and around the team. In the second half, Milan showed what you already know: I’m the one to blame and I take full responsibility, but someone needs to take a hard look at themselves."
A similar sentiment was expressed a little over a month ago by his predecessor, Paulo Fonseca, who after the Champions League victory against Red Star Belgrade in mid-December had said:
'Our team is a rollercoaster, today we're good, tomorrow who knows: it's impressive. I know I work every day to prepare the team and do well, but I don’t know if everyone in the squad can say the same thing."
