Fabio Capello commented in the pages of Gazzetta dello Sport on the altercation between Sergio Conceicao and Davide Calabria in the immediate aftermath of the Milan - Parma match.
Here's what he had to say:
“It’s not normal to see a coach attack his player like that, in front of everyone. Of course, in football, arguments, even tough ones, happen, I’m the first to be aware of that, but they should be inside the locker room, not in front of cameras. I remain convinced that this episode is a sign of obvious tension and, above all, excessive nervousness from the coach. Why is Conceicao so worked up? I believe it all comes from the difficulty the Portuguese has in getting the team to follow him."

Capello explained further:
"Milan doesn’t do what its coach asks: they press little when they lose the ball, they’re not aggressive, they don’t have the anger and competitive will to win games. You may say: but in seven matches with Conceicao, the Rossoneri have won five. Let’s look at how: in four occasions, Milan went behind and then turned the result around. What does this mean? That today they are more of a reaction team than an action one. The game is lacking, if they don’t take the first hit, they struggle to wake up.”
On the double substitution of Theo Hernandez and Rafael Leao at halftime, Capello commented:
"The most gifted players were no longer on the field. Substituted at halftime after 45 unacceptable minutes in every way, starting with the attitude. On the double substitution, I’m with Conceicao, although I know that the left wing, at least on paper, is Milan’s real strength. In my opinion, Conceicao, with a strong decision like substituting the two stars at the break, gained points in the locker room. However, if you go looking for a fight with your own player, then you risk ruining all the good you’ve sowed."
